10 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Gaiam to Golde

If below-freezing temperatures have you (like me) planning to nest until spring, we found lots of cozy deals to strengthen your resolve. There’s some rarely on-sale matcha powder for at-home lattes, a deep discount on a top-rated cashmere sweater, and a neutral linen quilt you can use year-round.

Select sweaters from Naadam — one of our go-to brands for affordable cashmere — are as low as $30 as part of the brand’s Archive Sale. The sale includes this ribbed sweater made from supersoft Mongolian cashmere, which is still in stock in three other colors.

For all new customers, Strategist-favorite sock brand Bombas is taking 20 percent off orders (and up to 30 percent off bundles) with code COMFORT20. You can’t go wrong with the classic calf socks, which have a cushioned footbed and honeycomb-shaped stitching around the arches for extra support.

It’s not the biggest discount, but Golde is taking 15 percent off sitewide — including its matcha, which is rarely on sale. Former Strategist intern Aisha Rickford describes the flavor as “bright, vibrant, and rich,” adding that it’s flavorful enough to drink on its own or mixed into a latte.

Parachute is taking up to 40 percent off select bedding and bath items including its best-selling linen quilt in white. Layer it over your comforter for extra warmth in this winter, then use it on its own come summer. (Note: You’ll need to create a free Parachute account to shop the sale.)

One of my favorites from our holiday gift guides this year, this art book by William Mullan contains photographs of the innards of his favorite obscure apples. It would make a very thoughtful (and unexpected) Valentine’s Day gift for a design-minded partner.

For a limited time, Verishop is taking an extra 30 percent off sale items like these leather lug-sole loafers with code WINTER22. These loafers are (somehow) still in stock in sizes 6 to 10 and also come in black.

It’s not every day we find a Gaiam yoga mat for under $15.

Down from $430, here’s an excellent deal on a gorp-y Woolrich jacket. It’s made from lined ripstop nylon and has a concealed zip fastening and drawstring hem.

This (very giftable) olive oil is sourced from female producers and growers in California, and its ingredients are sustainably harvested in small batches.

And if you’re thinking about sending some flowers to a loved one for Valentine’s Day, 1-800-Flowers is taking 25 percent off select bouquets scheduled to be delivered between February 7 and 14 with code LOVEEARLY. Available in four different sizes, this one features pink roses, lilies, larkspur, and lavender.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
