8 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Golde to Girlfriend

For this week’s Don’t DillyDally, we’ve surfaced a range of things we’re sure will sell out, including washable rugs from Ruggable x Keith Haring, a minimalist play gym for the aesthetically minded baby, and a new collection of nap dresses that we’re sure will be everywhere come spring.

Primary Kids Bedding

Primary — which makes high-quality, vibrant-colored pajamas — has ventured into bedding. We’ve written about the brand before, noting that its ultrasoft PJs are just as nice as the cult-favorite Hana Andersson after a few turns in the wash. The bedding takes cues from some of their best-selling prints and is made from crisp, cotton percale. There are two all-over prints to choose from — heart and stripes — in two colors: rainbow and navy. Plus, plain white sheets and pillowcases for the young minimalist.

Lalo Play Gym

Also on the baby front, tasteful-baby-décor-maker Lalo has released a play gym. Its minimalist profile and soothing color schemes are ideal for aesthetically minded parents (it’ll look nice next to their Snoos), and it transforms into a tent once your baby is too old to be entertained by the sensory balls and mirrors.

Keith Haring x Ruggable

We’re no stranger to Keith Haring collabs in our weekly roundups of things that’ll sell out. There were totes with Coach, cameras with Polaroid, and neon signs with Yellowpop. And that was just in the past year. Now, there’s a home collaboration with Ruggable. There are doormats featuring some of his most iconic designs (like “Dancing Daisy,” where the stick figures have flowers for heads) and area rugs that use his motifs in repeating patterns that look inconspicuous from far away but up close reveal the artist’s trademark whimsical style.

Golde x Canyon Coffee

Golde is making Valentine’s Day gifting easy thanks to a new collaboration with L.A.-based brand Canyon Coffee. The two have released a limited-edition kit, which includes a batch of Canyon’s small-batch, single-origin roasted coffee, a bar of vegan dark chocolate (topped with frozen berries!), and a bag of their cacao-turmeric blend, which writer Aisha Rickford credited with giving her energy without the jitters and soothing her gut. She even uses it in baked goods to give banana bread and cookies a slightly spicy kick.

Girlfriend Collective Microfleece Collection

Girlfriend has come a long way since we dubbed it the “new Outdoor Voices” in 2018, expanding its offerings from leggings and sports bras to cozy socks, exercise dresses, and even floor-length puffers. Now, it’s increased its loungewear offerings with the microfleece collection, which has a finer feel than its standard fleece but is no less touchable. Everything is made from recycled water bottles and (when you’re done with it) can be recycled with the brand’s in-house program. There are four styles available — a half-zip pullover, a full-zip jacket, and two hoodies, cropped and full-length — all of which would make for good layering pieces.

Hill House Victorian Romance Collection

Last summer, Hill House’s nap dress was ubiquitous. We couldn’t go more than a few hours without seeing one somewhere, whether that be on a feed or in real life. The brand has parlayed its popularity into an endless array of limited-edition prints, many of which quickly sell out. Their latest collection is Victorian Romance, which, as the name suggests, draws its inspiration from moody florals and classic paintings. The collection also introduces two new iterations of the Ellie (the sleeveless one that comes to mind when you think nap dress). It’s now available with pockets, which is incredibly convenient. The brand is also releasing “Collector’s Edition” nap dresses, which are available in super-limited quantities. The first drop introduces sheer tulle and sheer lace, giving the style a romantic twist. We expect these will go quick, so if you’re thinking of snagging one, don’t dillydally.

Parade x BRRCH

And if you like your florals a little less delicate and more photorealistic, Parade has collaborated with BRRCH Floral on a limited-edition collection inspired by florist Brittany Asch’s arrangements. Offerings include Strategist writer Chloe Anello’s favorite mesh bra, which she says is both comfortable and supportive, a matching mesh silk thong, and a long-sleeved bodysuit. And if you’d like to stock up, consider the bundle, which comes with the bra and two thongs. Additionally, $1 from every bundle purchase goes toward supporting reproductive rights

Yun Hai Year of the Tiger Collection

Yun Hai — which Strategist senior editor Chelsea Peng loves for Taiwanese pantry staples — released some cute collectible T-shirts to celebrate Lunar New Year (which started yesterday). They’ve created a cartoon tiger named QQ specifically for the holiday, which has Q’s for eyes (a reference to a Taiwanese word that describes food with a chewy texture, like boba) and wears a bow tie. When you buy a T-shirt, tote bag, or long-sleeved tee (all of which feature this adorable tiger), the proceeds go toward Heart of Dinner, which helps to fight food insecurity and isolation experienced by Asian American seniors.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
