For this week’s Don’t DillyDally, we’ve surfaced a range of new things we’re sure will sell out, including a workwear capsule collection from Everlane, a complex vanilla perfume from Boy Smells, and a collaboration between Olive & June and Beats.
Everlane the New Heritage Collection
Everlane, which we love for its minimal, well-made pieces, has launched its fourth Editions collection. This one is billed as a “modern workwear capsule” and includes pieces like hammered satin skirts, striped overalls, and smart-looking suits. This sweater from the collection is crafted from sustainably sourced merino wool and comes in five shades, including this punchy orange, which feels very fall.
Boy Smells Vanilla Era
Boy Smells’ latest perfume, Vanilla Era, has the makings of a signature scent. It isn’t a straightforward gourmand, thanks to woody and floral notes like amber wood, frankincense, white tulip, saffron, and black pepper. It also contains Iso E Super, a synthetic note that has a subtle sweet and musky scent, often referred to as an “invisible fragrance” because it smells like skin.
Malin + Goetz Strawberry Collection
In other scent news, Malin + Goetz is making the previously limited-edition strawberry a permanent scent in its collection. It’s strawberry-inspired rather than full-on fruity, with notes of bergamot, pink pepper, warm musk, jasmine petals, and orris root. In addition to an eau de parfum and perfume oil, you can grab the scent in candle form to round out your collection.
Olive & June x Beats
Beats has teamed up with long-wearing nail-polish brand Olive & June for their latest collaboration, bringing two new colorways to its popular Studio Buds headphones. The shades — cosmic silver and cosmic pink — are also available in nail polishes so you can match your mani to your headphones. There are also five sets of nail-art press-ons to choose from, each with a fun, metallic design.
Great Jones Glossies
Great Jones’ very popular (and actually good) mini Dutch oven now comes in a glossy finish. It’s a departure from the usual matte and is inspired by ’70s-era shades, specifically those found in the Ebony test kitchen, which was recently restored by the Museum of Food and Drink. As part of the launch, Great Jones is donating a portion of its proceeds to the museum, which will go toward continuing the legacy of the test kitchen.
Stasher Everyday Bag
A longtime favorite of the Strategist, Stasher makes sturdy, leak-free, reusable bags that can be microwaved, washed, and used again and again. Now it’s launched makeup bags, which have a few more features than the original, like the ability to stand freely and a nice-looking quilted design.
Banza Protein Waffles
Banza’s expansion beyond high-protein pastas continues. Its latest launch is protein waffles, which offer two and a half times the amount of protein of a regular waffle (an Eggo, for example, has four grams of protein to Banza’s ten), three times the fiber, and 35 percent fewer net carbs. Like the rest of its products, the main ingredient is chickpeas, and there are three flavors to choose from: chocolate chip, homestyle, and blueberry.
CAT x BDG
The workwear-as-fashion trend endures with Urban Outfitters’ latest collaboration. The retailer has teamed up with CAT, known for its work boots and heavy-duty construction equipment. The six-piece collection includes a sweatshirt, fleece half-zip, utility jeans, a trucker jacket, and two T-shirts, which definitely aren’t up to code but look cool nonetheless.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
