A Glut of Nice Pants for Under $100 at Anthropologie

The best time to shop Anthropologie is when it’s having a sale-on-sale, and right now happens to be one of those times. Thousands of already-on-sale products are an extra 50 percent off at checkout, which is the best percentage Anthropologie ever offers. But there’s one big caveat: Sizing can vary greatly in the Anthro sale section. Very often, items in the discount bin are there because they’re still available in just one size. And while that is indeed the case this time around, I found that there are lots of good pants in the mix, and lots of them still have good size availability. I dug through truly dozens of them to find best pairs. In addition to some extremely discounted pants from Anthropologie’s in-house lines (like Maeve and Pilcro, all of which are $50 or less), there are also some great deals on denim from high-end (and Strategist-approved) brands like Frame and Mother — brands you’ll rarely find on sale for this much. The sale won’t last forever (and neither will sizing), so shop while you can.

Several great pairs of pants by Maeve — Anthro’s in-house line that its own workers swear by — are on sale. This cropped pair has the best availability in very springlike colors, including a peachy orange, ocean blue, and the soft green shown here.

These are the same as the above, but in faux leather if you’re feeling bold.

For sizes 16 through 26, check out these cords in the earthy moss hue. Several standard sizes are also available in the black, bronze, and moss colors.

It’s a rare day when you find a pair of Anthro pants for $30. These still have nearly all sizes available in tan and the powdered sage color shown here.

Buy now, save for this year’s holiday parties (also available in a raspberry-red shade).

Anthro employees reassured us that the Pilcro denim (another in-house brand) is actually quite good these days. The fit is right, and they don’t stretch terribly.

With some deep digging, I found a handful of Mother jeans on sale. Sizing is limited on all discounted pairs, but this is the rare pair that has more than one size available (23 through 27, plus size 34). And if you wear a petite inseam, all sizes are still available.

Another one for the petites among us: These extra-wide-leg Citizens of Humanity jeans are available in all but two petite sizes.

“Coated” means they have just a little sheen — great for a night out.

If you’ve been wanting to try out some barrel-leg jeans, this pair from Paige seems like a just-barrel-enough option.

I am truly shocked to find Frame denim on sale for $80 and in stock in all sizes.

This slightly more toned-down pair is even cheaper and available in almost all sizes, too.

These are not available in all sizes, but the Le Slims are perhaps the most well-known pair of Frame pants, and this lovely chocolate-brown Palazzo pair is still in stock in a handful of sizes. Worth checking to see if yours is one of them.

And a swishy wide-leg pair to show off your boots.
