I’ve been tracking the best sleep-related deals (including on big-ticket items like mattresses), while my colleagues are hunting down the best discounts on home goods, kitchen items, toys and gear for kids and babies, and more. We spend all day every day testing products, interviewing experts, and keeping an eye on prices, so the TL;DR is that we know a Very Good Deal when we see one.
I’ve sorted through hundreds of Amazon listings to find actually good deals on mattresses, mattress toppers, pillows, bedding, and other sleep stuff — that means at least 20 percent off, unless it’s an item we love that’s rarely on sale. The Deals I Personally Think Are Best
If you’re only going to buy one or two things before Prime Day officially ends, these are the items I’d pick. I spend a lot of time price-checking various sleep products, and these are all things I don’t often see discounted this deeply. The Purple Harmony is my favorite pillow (I slept on it just last night!), and it’s about $20 cheaper than I’ve usually seen it on sale. The Hatch sunrise alarm clock is very popular (recommended by two Strategist writers and many people I’ve spoken to) but expensive, and this discount makes it a little more reasonably priced. And these Loop ear plugs are loved by multiple Strategist writers too — they’re designed to be comfortable to sleep in and priced the lowest they’ve been in months. Mattresses
Here’s a good deal on the all-foam Casper Original mattress.
The hybrid version of Casper’s Original mattress — meaning it has a mix of coils and foam — is on sale for under $1,000 for a queen size. That’s a really good deal.
