Is There Any Good COVID-Vaccine Merch?

Do you need an enamel pin commemorating your COVID-19 vaccination? No. But in ten years, when you’re looking back on this time, it might be nice to have a somewhat cheerful souvenir. My mother has a box of buttons from her younger days, including one from a 1980 protest against nuclear energy and another that reads “Pratt on Strike” from her time in art school. I love looking at those, and I didn’t even live through the events they commemorate, so it makes sense to add a “Fully Vaccinated” pin to her pile — and mine. Even if you’re not sentimental, getting vaccinated is something worth celebrating in one way or another. There is a huge amount of COVID-vaccine merch out there, including buttons and pins, but also T-shirts, socks, and stickers. A lot of it is cheesy and not worth your money, but after sifting through Etsy, Zazzle, and Redbubble, I found a surprising amount of pretty nice-looking options.

Buttons, pins, and patches

Good type makes any button worth wearing.

A simple smile button truly captures the mood of getting your second dose.

Some people will want their pin to declare victory.

Others might prefer saying it with a kitsch sunset.

This heart-shaped patch is perfect for vaccinated lovers.

And this patch might delight a fan of science-fiction films.

Stickers

A sticker for your travel mug so your barista can congratulate you.

This sticker will help you keep a safe social distance once we’re all back at the office.

And this one, when affixed to a bottle of wine, would make a lovely gift for a newly vaccinated friend.

T-shirts, sweatshirts, and socks

Wear this on a first date or to a family reunion.

Here’s a sweatshirt for showing your support.

If you’re looking for something a bit more subtle, we like this shirt with its realistically placed Band-Aid.

Speaking of subtle, the message on these socks will probably only be seen once you take off your pants.

And these socks, with their antibodies pattern, might help you strike up a conversation.
