If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what famous people add to their carts. Not the JAR brooch and Louis XV chair but the hair spray and the electric toothbrush. We asked producer DJ Khaled, who recently partnered with DJEEP Lighters, about the scent he lights in the studio, the golf clubs he’s named, and the lotion he uses to “protect his glow.”

Every time I’d walk into meetings with important people like the chairman or CEO of a company, I would always smell this particular scent. It’s fresh. I fell in love with it. Then, I found out it was Diptyque’s Baies. Ever since, I have to have these candles stocked in my studio and house. They make me feel at peace.

I love all Air Jordans. I’ve been wearing them since I was a baby. It’s hard to pick my favorite ones, because I love all the different styles. The OGs are so classic. But I have to say my favorites would have to be the 3s. I’m wearing 3s right now. I like that they mix it up with the different textures and shapes, like with the cement print. And then we get blessed with all of the great collaborations. I’ve done one myself, and so have Travis Scott and Virgil Abloh. That’s what I love about Jordan. He’ll collaborate with somebody on something that we love already. We just added our personalities to it.

I love cocoa butter. I use it all the time. That’s not a secret. I’ve been using it on my skin for as long as I can remember. God has blessed me with a glow, but this helps me get through the day without tampering it. It protects my glow.

These are the best in the game because of their grip and weight. I like how they feel, and I only play with them. My PXGs all have different names. My wedge is called Bless Up. My eight iron has my sons’ names, Asahd and Aalam. My six iron is called Six God War Ready. I have another wedge that’s called Bring Out My Putter, one’s called Gratitude, and another’s Immortal.

There are tons of golf bags out there, but the quality is above and beyond with this one. I’ve had it for about a year now. The magnetic pockets are my favorite part about it. They pop back into place instead of having to zip it, so it’s easy to grab whatever you need out of them. And it’s high quality. It’s strong enough to last through a lot of wear and tear. Mine still looks brand-new.

I’ve got to have a speaker everywhere I go. Even if I’m at the golf course, the plane, or the hotel room, I have it on me at all times. I want to hear the music I’m creating. My queen got me this Louis Vuitton speaker as a gift. I like that it’s high quality and it looks fly. I love that fly shit. It doesn’t matter what it is — dinner plates or my speaker — it has to be fly.

If you know Khaled, you know he always has a lighter in his hand. Like I said, I love my candles. I gotta light that up. When I play golf, I like smoking a cigar on the course. I gotta light that up. Lately, I’ve been in the studio working on my new album. Whenever something plays that’s fire, I ignite it. It’s like if I’m at a concert and I hear a great song. I don’t just use a lighter for lighting something, I use it to show my passion. This one lights like 3,500 times, which is great for me.
