Everything Worth Buying at Everlane’s Cyber Monday Sale

I’ve been on the clothing-basics beat for a little over half a year now, and Everlane is one of those brands that stylish folks bring up time and time again. That’s because it offers decently priced, size-inclusive, and well-made wardrobe staples. I’ve owned some of the brand’s tees and jeans for years, and they’ve all held up despite being worn almost weekly. I’ve even thrifted Everlane cashmere, which has yet to pill.

My only qualm with the brand is that its sale section is typically relegated to less popular styles in limited sizes and seasonal colors, and sitewide deals are hard to come by. That’s why the best time to stock up is during Cyber Monday, when more of its popular styles are discounted, sometimes even new arrivals. This year’s no different, and you can get everything from its actually butt-flattering jeans to our favorite cozy sweater for a fraction of the usual price. To help you narrow down your cart, I’ve focused on styles that we’ve written about before or have been recommended to us by stylish folks. And this post is broken up into women’s, men’s, and accessories, so you can skip ahead to exactly what you’re looking for. As with most Everlane sales, popular styles are prone to selling out, so don’t dillydally. I’m done updating this post, but there’s still time to shop, so be sure to check out our Cyber Monday coverage and sign up for our email newsletter for even more sales coverage.

Women’s

We’ve sung the praises of these classic straight jeans for years. They’re a middle-of-the-road option between super-skinny and flared, which senior Strategist writer Liza Corsillo says are “extremely comfortable and flattering.” They’re 30 percent off and come in three different inseam lengths and seven different washes.

These are the same high-rise, straight-leg jeans as above but specifically made for hourglass shapes. They’re also just $69, and some sizes have already sold out.

Strategist senior manager for audience development Mia Leimkuhler says fans of “sturdier, more rigid denim” will love the brand’s ’90s Cheeky Jean; strangers on the street have even approached her to ask where she got her pair.

Again, these are created for those with an hourglass shape but come at a deeper discount of 50 percent off. Take note, though: These are final sale, so if you decide to buy them, they’re yours to keep.

If instead you’re looking to stock your workplace wardrobe, these are our favorite pull-on work pants. They have an “ultrastretchy fit, which is camouflaged by their more tailored-looking legs,” and they don’t end up rumpled after a long day.

Everlane’s washable silk is on sale, including this breezy button-up. When former Strategist writer Hilary Reid tested out the material, she said it’s “thick, hangs in a slightly heavy way on the body, and was actually kind of cozy, which is not a term I would usually associate with a silk blouse.” Most importantly, it’s durable and holds up in the wash, living up to its name.

You can also get it as a cami for just $60. It’s available in two colors — black and burnt sugar — but note that stock is starting to sell out.

When we spoke to stylish women about the best long-sleeved shirts, this ribbed option was called a “must-have staple for your closet.” The pima cotton material is blended with elastane, so it’s both stretchy and sturdy enough to hold its shape after lots of wear.

Unsurprisingly, the turtleneck version of the above is another Strategist favorite. Kitchen and dining writer Emma Wartzman describes the fit as “tight enough that it doesn’t bunch up underneath things,” while another stylish person says it’s so soft that it “feels like second skin.”

Here’s our best overall sweater pick at a fraction of its usual price. Leimkuhler “practically lives” in hers when the temperatures drop because it’s “lightweight but still really warm, and the slightly fluffy texture reminds me of the angora sweaters my mom used to wear.”

This is made of the same material as above but styled as a turtleneck, so it’s extra cozy. It comes in this cheery lemon color and three other neutral shades.

Everlane’s cashmere is a favorite among staffers, stylists, and more cool people. Today, all of it is on sale with at least a 40 percent discount. This polo, which “screams ‘elevated errand run,’” is 50 percent off in all four colorways.

Stock up on classic crewnecks while they’re 60 percent off. It’s available in six colors and sizes XXS to XXXL.

If you’re looking for a way into the sweater vest trend, Everlane’s cashmere option is just $66. Any of the three colors — tan, navy, or yellow — would look great layered with a turtleneck.

Here’s a slightly cropped cashmere cardigan in a fun bubblegum pink color. It’s also available in black, olive, and a pink and maroon color-blocked style.

We also found this cozy turtleneck at a decent discount. It’s made with a blend of recycled cashmere and recycled wool and comes in four colors.

When we spoke to stylish folks about the best waffle clothing, Kith e-commerce planner Rilka Noel told us she’s a “big fan” of Everlane’s waffle tees because they’re “very effective” for staying warm. Stock up for the winter while they’re just $25.

If you’re looking for a fleece you could potentially dress up, the brand’s sweatshirt is a good option. New York deputy editor Alexis Swerdloff says, because of its texture, “some people at first glance think it’s a sweater as opposed to a sweatshirt — which makes me feel less schlubby when I wear it throughout the entirety of a weekend.”

It also comes in an oversize cut that’s the same price as the more fitted one above.

And here it is as a more traditional half-zip. It’s 50 percent off, but sales are final, so if you decide to buy, it’s yours to keep.

We’ve recommended Everlane’s puffers as “cool-looking” but substantial options in the past, and we found some decently discounted options. This one, made entirely out of recycled materials, is 30 percent off in all four colors.

Asia Milia Ware, junior fashion and beauty writer at the Cut (and puffer expert), says this quilted jacket is “unmatched” and “takes any outfit from basic to trendy.”

These best-selling leggings are a standout for Strategist writer Tembe Denton-Hurst, who in the past year became a gym rat and tested out plenty of workout clothes. The fabric’s “thin but compressive and high waisted,” she says. “These suck you in just the right amount, and the resulting effect is a tiny-looking waist and a plump butt — a win-win.”

For shorts that don’t give you “that sausage-leg effect,” Denton-Hurst recommends the brand’s bike shorts. She appreciates their fairly long inseam (eight inches) and “beautiful” colors. All four are on sale with the black and navy ones discounted the most at 50 percent off.

Another favorite of Denton-Hurst are the brand’s pocket leggings. She notes that they’re a “little less compressive than the regular leggings and bike shorts, so they don’t suck you in as much.” That makes them perfect for walks and less intensive workouts.

Men’s

Strategist associate editor Louis Cheslaw says these jeans “might just be the most comfortable I’ve ever owned.” He adds that the jeans have way more give in the hip and thigh than classics like Levi’s 501s “because they were designed to be intentionally roomier in those areas to accommodate the bodies of muscular athletes (and, apparently, less muscular writers).”

We’ve described Everlane’s button-downs before as “top tier,” and this one is as classic as it gets. It conveniently comes in two lengths — standard and tall — and four neutral colorways that are all on sale.

Like the women’s version above, this is entirely made out of recycled material. All three colors — black, navy, and olive green — are 30 percent off.

The shorter version is also on sale, bringing its price down to just $139.

Accessories

Everlane The Cashmere Ribbed Beanie
From $23
From $23

A nice gift for the hard to please is this cashmere beanie. It’s just $45 and comes in three fun striped patterns and five solid colors to choose from.

The brand’s backpacks and totes are editor-approved for looking put-together without sacrificing function. For a nice weekend bag that ticks both boxes, look no further. All five colorways are $67.

And we found this streamlined fanny pack that’s made with the same recycled material as above. It comes in this off-white shade as well as an olive and light-blue colorway.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape.
