What Judy Greer Brings in Her Carry-on

Summer getaway season is here, which means that you are going to need to bring some things with you. In a bag. To help us decide what to pack (and what to pack it in), we’ve enlisted some celebrities to tell us what they’re lugging. Today, the travel essentials of Archer and Ant-Man actress Judy Greer. Welcome to My Carry-on.

Never leave home without it. I’ve had mine for 12 years. The same one — it’s indestructible. I’d get another weekend bag, but this one hasn’t worn out yet. It’s great because you can pack it in your bag, it doesn’t take up much room, but it’s durable enough that I can check it on the way home.

I need all the Joanna Vargas sheet masks. They’re very travel-friendly and make me look like I’ve slept for ten hours, even if I took the red eye. Easy to keep in a carry-on, too. My favorites are the Bright Eye Firming Mask and Dawn Face Mask.

I need an actual book. That one holds in one’s hands. It requires no charging; it cannot be seen in the dark. But I have one with me at all times. Right now, it’s Here I Am.

My stylist, Karla Welch, got me hooked on this steamer. Now, I’ll unpack and steam all my clothes when I first get to my room. Usually, when I travel, I’m always crazed and busy and running late, so making sure all my stuff is ready to walk out the door saves me so much time in the long run. (Plus, I actually like steaming — it’s fun and good for my skin, too.)

I only know one way to do my own hair, and I need a curling iron for it. I just use the hotel-room hair dryer, but my curling iron is my lifesaver. Mine is T3. It’s got a huge barrel. Is that what it’s called? It seems wrong when I type it.

I love Norma Kamali. No matter what shape I feel like I’m in, her suits always make me feel chic and sexy. Also, my husband loves them, so that’s a perk.

Any blazer really will do because it dresses up anything at all and makes me feel slightly human.

I cannot see without my glasses — like at all. In my carry-on, I always keep contacts and glasses, which are Warby Parker, duh. They’re so cute and easy, and the ones I have make me look less tired and hungover when I wear them.

Bath salts for bathing, not sniffing. There are never tubs in hotel rooms anymore, but I keep packing them on the off chance that I get one in my room. I love Rozilla because it’s warm-smelling and relaxing, and since I keep that scent for vacation, it makes me feel like I’m on vacation, even if I’m traveling for work.
