New York has collaborated with Piecework, makers of our favorite non-fusty jigsaws, on a 1,000-piece puzzle that celebrates one of the dearest New York City institutions: the diner. Delight in and salivate over almost every item on the menu at the beloved, recently closed Upper East Side diner Neil’s. There’s everything from blueberry pancakes and a side of home fries to a tuna club and a grilled chicken diet delight — photographed by Bobby Doherty. The New York Diner puzzle is currently available on Piecework’s website and coming soon to the New York Magazine Shop. All that’s left is to grab a booth, ask for a mug of coffee (with unlimited refills, of course), and get to assembling. And read Adam Platt’s wistful ode to the New York diner that inspired this photo in the first place here.
