What Reggie Watts Can’t Live Without

I use my Vitamix all the time to make shakes; I don’t really make smoothies. A smoothie generally has a bunch of yogurt and nut butter and fruit and it just ends up being this really high-calorie bomb with the illusion of being healthy. I make protein shakes instead. I just use ice, berries, protein powder, and some raw oatmeal. Then sometimes I’ll put green powders like chlorella or spirulina or a mixture of both.

I usually have this thing on me. It’s just nice to have a device that can help you open up a package, or if you need a screwdriver or a nail file or scissors, you just have a tool that’s ready to go.

I take supplements on a daily basis and Digest Gold is an enzyme I use that helps break down more complicated foods. If someone invites me to a dinner and it’s heavier food than I’m used to having that can be a problem. So I’ll take it before and after a big meal like that.

I always carry my Prada wallet. It’s just a super thin one with spaces for six cards and then this kind of a middle space that you can use as a money clip.

I love the English clothing label Folk. It’s really well-made, elegant, and super functional. I like their Assembly pants a lot — they’re amazing.

Lately I’ve also been using the Pax Era which is a really great vape pen. You can pair it to your phone with Bluetooth and change the temperature and the length of each hit so that you don’t overhit. I don’t use it every day, but I would say often enough to appreciate it. The lower temperature burn is nice for your voice. I’ve been vaping a lot in the last three weeks and I’m gonna stop for a while because I need to take care of my voice. But if I do use a vape pen I want it to be as cool as possible. I’ve been using a Red Hydrogen One holographic phone and that’s been really great because it takes 3-D photos and it can display them on its screen, so it’s like you’re looking into a window, which is pretty cool. I use it all the time. It has these machine scallops like grippy things on the sides. It’s maybe a little bit too masculine in my opinion. Like, it looks like something a Klingon would use or like an alien from an ’80s movie, but it’s definitely amazing technology.

It’s fun to feel like you’re living in the future. Tesla has an autopilot feature that I use probably 70 percent of the time when I’m driving. Once you get used to it and understand how it functions and what it can and can’t do, it’s actually a very comfortable driving experience, because it just takes away all that stress of constantly monitoring the road or hovering with your foot over the brake and gas. I’m using it now.

I go to the gym a lot, but I also have a treadmill at my house and I’ll use that from time to time. It’s important to mix it up.

I drink a glass of water first thing every morning and I use the Pure water filtration device that serves the whole house. I also have a Vero water filter, and I use an alkalizer on top of that. As far as I know, alkalized water does more for your body than regular water in terms of aiding it to heal itself because an alkaline environment is more anti-inflammatory. That’s my layman’s attempt at describing it.
