* We just learned that our favorite the Wax Apple recently came out with fantastic $25 house slippers that look totally fine for outside wear in a bevy of great colors like “lime pink” and “sun gingham”! Most colors are sold out, but we imagine they’ll be restocked. (For summer slippers, these are always good. As are the Wax Apple theater ones.)
* Good ring.
* Some pillows: pink one, striped one, floral one.
* Also from Layla, but what a great price for a fantastic quilt …
* Also hot pink, but what a great skirt …
* And also a skirt, but these very Y2K-ish ones from Ghost are really great, basically all under $30. Might buy this one if none of you do.
* We’ve covered Babette before, but its beaded tanks are too, too good and too, too well priced …
* A nice assortment of tanks for kids from Mabo.
* Senior editor Hilary Reid spotted a mother-of-pearl purse on Kathleen Sorbara’s Instagram and endeavored to find one of her own. And she did! Here, here, and (best one?) here. In a slightly different but perhaps even better vein: this one.
* Good summer uniform: big button-down and white Soffe shorts.
* Throw in some nice old Pumas! Like these or these!
* Plop yourself down on these teak-and-aluminum lounge chairs for the next three months.
