* Writer Lauren Ro just got these Mephistos in taupe. We saw them in person at the office, and what’s nice about them is how narrow the toe of the women’s version is — they look almost dainty. She wears them with long skirts and socks.
* And senior editor Hilary Reid, a regular in the Housing Works online auction pages, just sent over this interesting Giuseppe Pagano Pogatschnig Italian Art Deco wardrobe cabinet. A steal compared to the one going for over $3,000 on 1stdibs.
* Just learned about this new sweater company NONAME is needed, and now we want one of its polka-dot cardigans and striped rugby pants!
* These suede hiking shoes are very nice.
* A great under-$20 gift: this conch cutlery rest.
* Ready to replace all of our plates with these aluminum guys.
* Gearing up for winter: This fluffy beanie is like a much more expensive version of the no-longer-made Patagonia Sherpa Pile we’ve written about in the past, but it is probably much softer.

* Minimal-basics line Baserange just launched bedding, along with other home things, and now minimal-basics line Deiji Studios has come out with sheets and duvets. The mauve check looks great.
