For a long time, my Holy Grail mascara was DUP’s curl keeper mascara, which I picked up on a whim at a Japanese drugstore. Lash Slick quickly won my heart: I could wear it day to night without a trace of smudging, and it made my lashes look subtly lengthened and thickened. But still, I found myself going back and forth between the two. Both mascaras made my lashes look bigger, my eyes look brighter, and neither gave me panda eyes. So in an effort to finally figure out which of these two mascaras were better, I pitted them against each other, testing their water resistance and how much they smudged when I rubbed my eyes, so that I knew conclusively which to reach for and when.
