FESTIVALSJune 10 / SatBrooklyn Pride Festival & Parade
During the day, it’s gay-friendly street vendors, live music, and info booths for local organizations like Dyke TV. At night, you won’t find much leather and exposed skin at the low-key evening parade along Park Slope’s Seventh Ave.

Jean-Georges Vongerichten hosts the 11th annual benefit for the Central Park Conservancy. Thirty-five chefs from restaurants like Tavern on the Green and Lever House cook up gourmet grub as deep-pocketed guests bid on Knicks tickets, exotic vacations, and designer duds.
