The Stuff
Dixon Bamboo Hamper With Liner, $140 at crateandbarrel.com
Curtis was searching for a bowler hat in order to show me some Fosse choreography that he learned during his stint in the show on Broadway. He used our hamper as a step stool, and when his leg went crashing through, we thought it might be time for an upgrade.
Nespresso Inissia Espresso Maker, $130 at macys.com
Doing eight shows a week and planning a wedding have proved to be tiresome and turned us both into caffeine addicts. We want the strong stuff!
Calvin Klein Palisades Comforter and Duvet-Cover Set, $341 at macys.com
When we first moved in together, we bought a West Elm duvet
cover and matching shams, only to wake up to little nibbles
all throughout the comforter. Our dogs weren’t accustomed to
the Brady Bunchstyle combined-family scenario yet and took
it out on our bedspread. We’ve hesitated to invest in a duvet,
but now that we’re getting married and feel like real live grown-ups, we are ready to take that risk.
Couple No. 2:
Mollie Chen, head of brand
voice and experience, Birchbox, and Rob Bonstein , SVP, operations and business development,
the Windish Agency

The Stuff
Prune, by Gabrielle Hamilton, $32 at amazon.com
So we can finally learn how to re-create the Prune burger.
Best of Big Spoon Roasters Almond & Peanut Butter Collection, $40 at food52.com
Is it weird to register for
peanut butter? Maybe. But it’s
the stuff of life, at least in our apartment. We’ve brought back fancy nut butters as souvenirs from Italy, California, and Georgia, so it feels somewhat appropriate to include them here.
Brass Lift Trivet, $48 at food52.com
It’s hard to get excited about a trivet, but we’re 100 percent jazzed about this one.
Heath Ceramics Single-Stem Vase, $84 at heathceramics.com
Rob lived in L.A. for a
couple years, during which time we discovered Heath. I was
still in New York and would come out to visit, and inevitably
we’d end up at the Heath store, where I’d find some excuse
to bring home a bowl or serving platter. These odds and ends
are happy souvenirs of that time, especially now that Rob is
back here. I love this particular vase, because the narrow
mouth eliminates the pressure
to compose an artful flower arrangement a single stem
will do it!
Samsonite Aspire GR8 21, $70 at luggagefactory.com
Our current luggage is too heavy, too bulky, and barely carry-on approved. These Samsonite ones are going to be perfect for
our honeymoon to Turkey and Tuscany: slim profile, lightweight, and expandable to fit all the items most likely food-related we’ll pick up on our trip.
Couple No. 3:
Dale Talde, chef-proprietor,
Three Kings Restaurant Group, and Agnes Talde, journalist

The Stuff
Le Creuset Red Salt & Pepper Mills, from $35 at williams-sonoma.com
These don’t really go with anything in our kitchen, but I don’t like matchy-matchy things. And I thought if we can make these last, when they wear down, they’ll look great and antique.
White Bone & Black Horn Salad Servers, $20 at williams-sonoma.com
Agnes loves salad.
Dinner at Asador Etxebarri, in San Sebastián, Spain, $325 via zola.com
We’re going to San Sebastián for our honeymoon. I’m not that seasoned of a traveler, but San Sebastián has some of the most simple yet also the most complex cooking in the world. It’s in a super-hard-to-get-to place, and everything is cooked on wood or charcoal. The chef will even grill smoked caviar. He engineered the grills himself.
They get cleaned and wiped down every night. He even makes his own charcoal. It’s crazy.
Couple No. 4:
Becca McCharen, designer, fashion line Chromat, and Christine Tran , co-founder, Witches
of Bushwick

The Stuff
Four Winds Class C
Motor Home, prices vary, at fourwinds-classc.com
This is
the only thing on our registry. Christine and I are always flying and driving around the country for work trips, and if we had
an RV, we could drive off into the sunset for the ultimate road
trip! We’re starting to plan our honeymoon route, and we want
to check out places we haven’t been to together, like Chicago, Joshua Tree, and New Orleans.
