‘Harry Potter’ Leaks, Nerds Like Us Cover Eyes
Not that we didn’t see this coming, but some copyright-flouting Muggle (with questionable taste in carpeting) has posted pictures of every page of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on the Internet almost five days before the book’s official release. Spoilers are currently rocketing through the blogosphere like so much Lindsay Lohan crotch photography, so if you’re hoping to remain unspoiled, click carefully the next few days. (Vulture will never post spoilers, but we will link to them, and you can be certain the above link has already collected comments from spoiler-happy readers.) If you’re really worried, you might want to unplug your computer, turn off all the lights, and hide in a closet until Hallows hits stores Friday at midnight. Um, because that’s what we’ll be doing.
Meanwhile, expect Bloomsbury to unleash its 24-hour litigation specialist on whoever they can identify immediately.
Edit, 11:48 a.m.: Wow, Bloomsbury’s attack lawyers are on the stick! TorrentFreak’s entire site is completely offline. You have to respect that kind of speedy justice.
