Photographer Laura Letinsky Fails to Clean Her Plate
Laura Letinsky has made a career of photographing elegant undone tables, always suggesting decadent meals shared, perhaps, between ballerinas. Letinsky, along with Alec Soth and Binh Danh, is among the handful of contemporary photographers at the AIPAD Photography Show showcasing new, less new (a.k.a. modern), and nineteenth-century fine-art photography this weekend at the Park Avenue Armory. —Emma Pearse
