It’s no secret that we here at Vulture HQ are more than a little geeked to see Watchmen when it finally hits the big screen next month. In preparation for March 6, we’ve been thumbing through our tattered copy of the graphic novel for the millionth time, we’ve been watching all the commercials videos, and hell, we’re even following the New Frontiersman Twitter. However, at this point, even we have to admit that we’re starting to get a little annoyed with all of the viral bread crumbs that Warner Bros. has been sprinkling all over the internet. It’s tough to complain when the production quality of these archival materials remains so consistently high, but the fact remains that we’ve reached the saturation point with all things Watchmen. We’re beginning to feel like Warner Bros. is getting a little too needy, like a nerd in junior high that keeps offering to buy you chocolate milk so you’ll sit at the same table in the cafeteria with them during lunchtime. Chill out, dudes; all this pandering is really unbecoming of you.
That said, this video describing the Keene Act of 1977 is pretty sweet. We think you’ll agree.
