Bruce Springsteen isn’t the only one who’s pissed about the proposed merger of evil ticket-selling behemoths Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Fifty members of the U.S. House of Representatives sent a letter to the Justice Department (not to be confused with the Justice League) expressing their concerns that the deal might be a violation of antitrust laws and will likely cause “competitive harm in the ticketing and other industry markets.†We here at Vulture don’t really care if they merge or not, but we would like to see lawmakers give us an assist in forcing the companies to lower those ridiculous service fees they charge.
