Outside of the evening that he went out clubbing in London while wearing a pair of slippers with the name Loki emblazoned on them, Mickey Rourke has been keeping his nose to the proverbial grindstone this summer and maintaining a pretty low profile. Don’t get us wrong, that’s a good thing: No one wants to see him squander all of the positive goodwill he racked up this winter just for a few nights of debauchery on the L.A. club circuit. That said, this sneak preview of Monday night’s Rourke-starring episode of Inside the Actors Studio is, in the immortal words of Will Ferrell, positively scrumtrillescent and reminds us how much we’ve been missing him during this dreadfully boring summer. In the clip, Rourke — who, thankfully, still hasn’t figured out why shirts have buttons — regales James Lipton with a gut-buster of a story about his early days as a drug-dealing, gun-toting ditchdigger in Miami.
