Man, what a letdown. After we painstakingly Photoshopped this amazing cover art and polled our readers for their suggestions for the title, Rolling Stone today reveals the details of Bob Dylan’s upcoming Christmas album, and he’s apparently ignored all our ideas. It will be called Christmas in the Heart (Gotta Serve Somebody Eggnog would’ve been much better) and hit stores October 13; also, its cover will feature a painting we’re pretty sure we’ve seen on a plate hanging in our mom’s house. Its track list will include classic holiday jams like “Must Be Santa,†“Little Drummer Boy,†“Winter Wonderland,†and “Here Comes Santa Claus.†One thing that still gives us hope: RS says that all proceeds from the album will go to charity, which means that it’s definitely not a cash grab and that Dylan likely made this thing just to be funny. So we’re still cautiously optimistic here.
