Did you ever think you’d live to see the day where Kirstie Alley and Chris Rock came together on the same side of the same issue? Well, it’s happened! After a cavalcade of left-leaning Hollywood stars came out in support of Roman Polanski and against the so-called “Philistine collusion†that got him locked in the pokey, Kirstie Alley was the first major Hollywood celebrity to blast Polanski publicly (via Twitter, no less!). But last night, Chris Rock appeared on the beleaguered Jay Leno Show and launched into a hilarious riff about the Polanski kerfuffle, one in which he took a clear anti-Polanski stance. As Rock explained, “He made good movies, THIRTY YEARS AGO. Even Johnnie Cochran don’t have the nerve to go, ‘Well, did you see O.J. play against New England?’†See the rest of his hilarious bit, in which he also compares the Polanski case to Michael Vick’s plight, below.
