Last week Microsoft got nervous after watching Fox’s upcoming special Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show. The company was supposed to provide all of the advertising, but too many unsavory jokes led to their pulling out. Apparently Microsoft had never seen Family Guy. Now Warner Bros. has come to the rescue, agreeing to make its new Robert Downey Jr.–starring Sherlock Holmes the special’s sole advertiser. That means an extended trailer for the movie will play sometime during the special. So just think of it as watching 25 minutes of commercial for an awesome five-minute show.
