For his performance as the singing, guitar-playing Bad Blake in Crazy Heart, Jeff Bridges is the presumed front-runner for March 7’s Best Actor Oscar. The race’s fast-gaining dark horse, though, seems to be The Hurt Locker’s non-singing Jeremy Renner, whose chances certainly weren’t hurt by his delightfully stunned reaction to his nomination last week on the Today show. But who thought it would be a good idea to let him perform a hilarious original song (“My Worldâ€) while accompanying himself on piano, during an appearance on The View yesterday? Congratulations in advance, Jeff!
