Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen will enter a rehabilitation facility “as a preventative measure,†temporarily halting production on the CBS comedy. CBS, Warner Bros. TV, and Men executive producer Chuck Lorre said in a joint statement: “[We] support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary in-patient care at a treatment center. We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter.†Sheen was charged on February 8 with felony menacing, third-degree assault, and criminal mischief in an alleged Christmas Day fight with his wife, Brooke Mueller. Men, which is CBS’s most-watched comedy, has already filmed 18 of its 24 episodes this season. [Hollywood Insider/EW]
