We’re not even sure why we actually clicked “play†on a Moviefone.com montage of “best love moments†from the movies, but dare we say it’s actually quite imaginative and good! It has some obvious moments from Twilight and Pride and Prejudice and Notting Hill and all that, but also unexpected ones like Michael Showalter’s love-speech satire in Wet Hot American Summer (“I don’t care that you’re bowlegged and I don’t care that you’re bilingual!â€). Basically, whoever made this risked his or her very job by leaving out both “You complete me†and “You had me at hello.†We’ll even forgive the inclusion of a brief Away We Go scene just for that. We’re not saying we luff it or even lurve it, but it’s definitely way better than it had to be, and as far as movie-love-moment montages go, it has bewitched us body and soul.
