Don’t Trust Bono With Your Money

A new report from the website 24/7 Wall Street claims that Elevation Partners — the investment firm co-founded by Bono along with various legitimate-sounding finance types, and presumably named after that U2 song from the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider soundtrack — is “arguably the worst run institutional fund of any size in the United States.†Apparently, Elevation’s dealings with Palm, Forbes, Move.com, and Yelp have been “an unprecedented string of disastrous investments which even bad luck could not explain.†Yikes! Our advice? That Bono focus his energy and time solely on the troubled Elevation and immediately put all future U2 or world-saving projects on indefinite hold. [S.F. Business Times via MOG]
