On the chance that you didn’t get enough Madonna on last night’s Glee (there is no chance of this), it appears the hot Fox show will be teaming up with the Material Girl again come this fall. Show creator Ryan Murphy is in talks with Madonna’s camp to feature six more of the icon’s songs for an episode in the show’s second season this fall, EW is reporting. It’s rumored that fans will be able to vote on which of Madge’s songs will be included in the follow-up.
No doubt impressed by all the buzz Madonna has received from her partnership with Glee, Britney Spears appears to be angling for a similar all-Spears episode, as her manager attempted to rally fans this afternoon, urging them to tweet “#BritneyonGLEE†(which eventually became a “trending topicâ€). Quinn chastising Puck’s “Womanizer†ways? A Principal Figgins–Sue Sylvester “Toxic†duet (“he took a sip / from her devil’s cupâ€)? An ensemble “… Baby One More Time†in proper attire? As long as they spare us Rachel wailing “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman,†we’re onboard.
