Conan O’Brien returned to Universal City last night, the latest stop on his 32-city comedy tour, where he was greeted by some famous friends. Jim Carrey joined O’Brien onstage dressed as Superman for a duet of “It’s Not Easy to Be Me†(a parody of that Five for Fighting song you love so much). And Jonah Hill, Jon Hamm, and Aziz Ansari showed up for a famous O’Brien bit involving clips from Walker, Texas Ranger (the sketch has been rebranded “Chuck Norris Rural Policeman Handleâ€). O’Brien acknowledged the proximity to his former home throughout the show. “This is my first time back to Universal Studios since I lost my job,†he began, “Sit back and enjoy an incredibly awkward show.†And later, more amusingly: “Listen very carefully,†he told the audience, pointing in the direction of the NBC-Universal lot, “Bad ideas are being greenlit.†[Hollywood Insider/EW]
