Sandra Bullock may have bad taste in husbands, but she has good taste in old ladies. The Wrap credits Bullock with being the initial, driving force in the Betty White resurgence. Last June, White appeared as Bullock’s blunt grandma in romantic comedy The Proposal, her first notable movie role since 2003 (and she recorded a funny video for it). Bullock also lovingly presented White with the Lifetime Achievement Award at January’s Screen Actors Guild awards. So, basically, had the secret baby thing not turned things around for Bullock, she always could have appeared on the cover of People holding up Betty White. [Wrap]
