It’s Jessica Alba day! Already featured in today’s awesome clip for Machete, here she is again in the slick one for Michael Winterbottom’s The Killer Inside Me. If you know just one thing about Killer, it’s that in it — spoiler! — Alba’s face is beaten to a pulp by Casey Affleck, playing a homicidal cop, which had some who saw the film at Sundance hailing it as an Antichrist for our generation. This well-cut, slow-burning trailer, though, mercifully only hints at the movie’s violence, with Alba sustaining just a couple minor slaps. Let’s make a deal: We’ll agree to see this thing as long as IFC agrees to forgo a red-band trailer.
