If you’ve been breathlessly awaiting a look at the upcoming Gore Verbinksi-Johnny Depp animated feature Rango to ascertain whether the Pirates of the Caribbean duo has managed to recreate their unique brand of magic, you, uh, will still be waiting after watching this trailer! The 53-second teaser - which will run before the Karate Kid this weekend - seems more like an impenetrable art piece than a movie preview, revealing next to nothing about the film, which is supposedly about a chameleon going through an identity crisis. And perhaps even more frustrating than the lack of plot details is that we don’t get the satisfaction of finding out what goofy accent Depp is throwing at us this time around.
