The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog says M. Night Shyamalan is quietly shopping a new screenplay around Hollywood, likely in hopes that a solid opening for his upcoming The Last Airbender will make studios forget all about what happened the last time he was allowed to direct from one of his own scripts. No details have been revealed about the project, and only a handful of studio VIPs have read the script (while under the supervision of a Shyamalan assistant). We do, however, know that Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Bruce Willis are all reportedly attached to star, which should be more than enough information for us to figure out the film’s Shyamalanian twist ending. Our guess: In the movie’s final minutes, we will learn that Cooper and Paltrow are not Bruce Willis’s real parents. Have a better idea? Let us know in the comments.
