Ratings Good for Bad, Bad for Tonys

1.6 million people tuned into last night’s Breaking Bad season-three finale, up a whole 17 percent from last year’s final episode. Meanwhile, not even Scarlett Johansson, Denzel Washington, and the cast of Glee could save the Tony Awards from an 8 percent decline in viewership from 2009’s NPH-emceed ceremony. This is a clear mandate to give next year’s Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Play to a meth-head instead of a movie star. [Live Feed/HR, Live Feed/HR]
