Remember Monday’s news about the upcoming movie Most Wanted, a quasi-sequel to last year’s Proposal that Sandra Bullock was to make with that film’s cast and creative team, in which she’ll play a criminal who, through totally plausible machinations, we’re sure, is forced to go on the lam with a U.S. Marshal portrayed by Ryan Reynolds? Didn’t it seem like a strange follow-up to her Oscar-winning role in The Blind Side? Now that the word is out, her manager suddenly thinks so, too, and he does some damage control in the L.A. Times: “[Bullock] is simply attached to the project, which is currently in development. This is not her next film … There are several projects of many different genres that Ms. Bullock is presently considering and has not committed to any of them at this time. The next project that will follow her Oscar will be chosen carefully and with a great deal of thought,†he said, adding that Bullock’s next role will actually be a Blind Side half-sequel in which she and Quinton Aaron star as a pair of flatulent astronauts.
