Faced with the challenge of marketing a feature-length movie that takes place entirely inside a coffin, Lionsgate has done a pretty good job of making Buried not look totally claustrophobia-inducing! Similar in aesthetic to the Hitchcockian posters for the film released earlier this summer, the full trailer promises a suspenseful ride (erm, “ride†in the metaphoric sense) as Ryan Reynolds attempts to telephone his way out of a coffin. The smattering of pull quotes indicate that the critics apparently had a good time… and hey, if you’re gonna spend 94 minutes in a coffin with someone, Ryan Reynolds ain’t the worst you could do.
