The MPAA recently awarded Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life, his mysterious fifties movie starring Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, and Jessica Chastain that was maybe supposed to premiere at Cannes and did not, a PG-13 rating. This means unaccompanied 15-year-olds will be able to see this movie, and, more important, that said movie actually exists, in finished enough form to be seen by people at the MPAA! It may just make that 2010 release date after all. [/Film]
