People better connected than us were on hand last night for what sounds like a pretty fantastic evening of music: Going on just before 2 a.m. — with John Legend on the piano, Estelle as a guest star, and pals Pusha T, Mr. Hudson, and A-Trak in the audience — ‘Ye plowed through a full 90-minute set, running through new songs “Mama’s Boyfriend†and “Power,†as well as old standards like “Good Life,†“Heard Em Say,†and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.†By decree of Kanye, you had to wear a suit to get in, which is why the world now has a photo of a decidedly dapper Pusha looking vaguely irritated.
