Focus Features has officially announced it will be campaigning for both female stars of its The Kids Are All Right — Annette Bening and Julianne Moore — in the Oscars’ Best Actress category. There had been some chatter that one of the two (probably Moore) would be moved to the Supporting Actress category, even though both women almost irrefutably had leading roles. Considering this year’s overcrowded field, both actresses scoring nominations may prove difficult; if they did pull it off, however, it would be the sixth time in history a movie wins two Best Actress nominations.
