Reports coming from Sundance on Katie Holmes’s latest project, The Son of No One, aren’t looking good. The crime drama, directed by Dito Montiel — who previously directed A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints — stars Holmes, along with Al Pacino, Channing Tatum, Ray Liotta, and Juliette Binoche. But while dozens of acquisitions execs made it into the theater for the afternoon screening, several left before the film was over, and the film ended to resounding silence. One observer actually called it an “exodus†from the theater, and one of the first big bombs of Sundance. But! That doesn’t mean the film won’t find a buyer — especially with so many big names on the bill. It could be the next Mad Money! [HR]
