It was a big weekend for The King’s Speech: After director Tom Hooper’s upset over The Social Network’s David Fincher at the Director’s Guild Awards, the film’s cast triumphed at the SAG Awards, too, taking home the top prizes. (Social Network got nothing.) It’s official: The King’s Speech is your new front-runner for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Meanwhile, Natalie Portman got a new trophy for her turn in Black Swan. She thanked her parents, “who taught me to work my hardest and never be an asshole,†as TBS beeped out her profanity. “It’s never acceptable,†she said, of being an asshole. On the TV side, Boardwalk Empire beat out Mad Men, and Modern Family and Betty White both took home new trophies. Check out all the winners, below:
