Where does one go after making a mega-million-dollar franchise like Harry Potter? Why, to quiet, quirky indie films, of course. Potter star and horse enthusiast Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to star in Amateur Photographer, a new indie film about a small-town seventies photographer. It’s directed by Christopher Monger — who also wrote the book upon which it’s based. Monger was recently nominated for an Emmy for his work on the HBO series Temple Grandin. [Variety]
