In Source Code, Jake Gyllenhaal plays a soldier who must relive the same eight minutes over and over, and after the movie’s premiere at South by Southwest this past weekend, Gyllenhaal himself is doomed to keep justifying an altercation that went down in the blink of an eye. “Best story I heard tonight was the guy who tried to take a photo of Jake Gyllenhaal at the urinal, and Jake went all badass on him,†tweeted Cinematical’s Erik Davis. “Gyllenhaal apparently grabbed the dude mid-photo, threw him against the wall and was like, ‘are we really gonna do this right now?’†(But if Gyllenhaal really wanted to promote Source Code, he would have also yelled, “Where is the bomb?“) Though the actor’s rep denied a bathroom altercation, when EW asked Gyllenhaal face to face, he laughed and confirmed it: “That’s true. I think it’s an appropriate space to keep privacy. I hope that people wouldn’t disagree with me on that.†[Erik Davis/Twitter, Inside Movies/EW, E!]
