On Saturday Night Live, Jason Sudeikis usually plays the Everyman, but in movies, his persona is more defined: He’s the horny Everyman, the good-natured guy who thinks he must be irresistible to the ladies. (Is this because he once dated January Jones?) That’s the kind of character Sudeikis has played so far this year in Hall Pass and Horrible Bosses, and he’ll go back to the well again with A Good Old Fashioned Orgy, a story about schlumpy funnymen with hot ladyfriends who decide to follow several years of legendary house parties by going out with a literal bang: For Labor Day weekend, they’ll stage an orgy. Will Forte is involved, too, so if you’ve ever had some very elaborate fantasies about taking on the male cast of SNL all at once (as Lorne Michaels stands on the sidelines, cryptically withholding his approval), this is certainly your movie.
