With a pretty A-list cast yet a modest budget, R-rated Horrible Bosses grossed almost $10 million in its first night. The movie is expected to rake in $25 million this weekend, making it a pretty solid moneymaker for Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, considering it only cost $35 million to make. Seems like quite the bargain what with big names like Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, and the “marvelously cretinous†Colin Farrell, not to mention up-and-comers Jason Bateman (whatever did happen to that Arrested Development movie?), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s master degenerate Charlie Day, and SNL’s Jason Sudeikis.
