Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has made over a billion dollars worldwide, so obviously there will be another installment in the franchise. And it looks like Johnny Depp is just about game for it: The Wrap reports that a rough script is in for Pirates 5, and that rewrites are going on right now under Jerry Bruckheimer’s supervision; meanwhile, Depp is in negotiations, and if the team can get the script up to his standards, the deal will go through, probably for a whole ton of money.
