It seems pretty obvious from Rob Elhenney and Nick Kroll’s interview about Fat Mac on It’s Always Sunny that the man deeply misses the giant version of himself now that he’s losing weight. “I feel like for the first time in my life I’ve been watching the show like, ‘All right, I’m almost as funny as everybody else,’ McElhenney says of his temporary enormity. “Yeah, I was jolly as fuck. And I was just full of energy, because I was eating so much. It was just constant fuel.†As Kroll explains to him, “You’re the fucking Daniel Day-Lewis of basic cable,†provided, of course, that Daniel Day-Lewis also suffered from a debilitating case of fat guy’s dick.
