Bend down to this hole carved through the side of my bathroom stall so I can whisper some really spooooooky news to you: Scary Movie 5 is in the works. Reportedly the filmmakers behind the fifth…quel have hired writers Stephen Leff, John Aboud and Michael Colton to pen the screenplay, and have supposedly extended offers to previous cast members Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall and Kevin Hart, who will probably want to read the awful, humiliating way they die before signing on. I, for one, hold out hope that this one could be a return to form. Yes, I know many people blame the series for spawning such films as Epic Movie and Superhero Movie, but hey, can you really blame Lenin for creating Stalin? And can you also check Wikipedia to see if that analogy makes any sense at all, please?
