Gwyneth Paltrow and Justin Timberlake have new statuettes to squeeze onto their mantles, or wherever it is that they keep their ever-expanding heaps of trophies: Paltrow won an Emmy on Saturday for her guest-starring role on Glee, and Timberlake won two — one for hosting SNL, and one for co-writing his monologue song. This is Paltrow’s first Emmy, but it’s Timberlake’s third and fourth, which is almost equal to an Oscar. On the drama side, Loretta Devine won for guest-starring on Grey’s Anatomy, and Paul McCrane * (a.k.a. Dr. Romano a.k.a. Montgomery from Fame) won for guest-starring on Harry’s Law. Deadliest Catch won Best Reality Show, Jeff Probst won Best Host, and Boardwalk Empire totally cleaned up and took home awards in seven different production categories.
